We are seeking an exceptional Business Operations Manager to join our team at Ross Stores, Inc. Main Responsibilities
- Store Operations Management
Responsible for leading all aspects of store operations, ensuring seamless execution of daily activities, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
Talent DevelopmentMentor and coach store teams to achieve peak performance, focusing on areas such as sales growth, inventory management, and employee engagement.
Financial AcumenAnalyze financial reports to optimize store performance, identify opportunities for cost savings, and develop strategies to drive revenue growth.
Inventory ManagementOversee the entire merchandise lifecycle, from receiving and stocking to processing returns and implementing markdowns.
Culture and ComplianceFoster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and professionalism within the store team, while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales increases, exceeding annual targets.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective store operations, prompt issue resolution, and ongoing feedback mechanisms.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and opportunities for growth and development.
- Inventory Turnover: Optimize inventory levels, reducing excess stock and minimizing waste, while maintaining adequate stock levels to meet customer demand.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in a retail or similar environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, with experience in data analysis, budgeting, and financial planning.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, including store teams, district managers, and corporate executives.
