About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plasma collection process, providing exceptional customer service to donors, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the autopheresis machine for the pheresis process and monitor the donor and the pheresis process, responding to specific alarms or signals that may occur during the process.
  • Disconnect the donor when the process is complete and maintain alertness and awareness to any reaction donor may have during or after the pheresis process.
  • Use Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) to record incidents that occur during the pheresis process, such as machine alerts and alarms, volume variances, and donor adverse events.
  • Alert Group Leader or Supervisor of donor flow issues and ensure the accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system.
  • Maintain clean and efficient work environment, and ensure sufficient operating supplies and forms are available as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three (3) months' work experience, preferably in medical or health provider environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
