About the Role

We're seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at Meadowbrook Restaurant

As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience from the moment they walk in the door.

Key Responsibilities
  • Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guests
  • Explain menu and answer product questions for all guests
  • Enter guests orders accurately into the POS system
  • Accept payments from guests and make change correctly
  • Presents orders to guests, properly packaged and with all necessary accompaniments and utensils
  • Thanks all guests for their business
  • Generates additional sales by suggesting additional menu items to guests
  • Stocks adequate supplies of paper goods, condiments, beverages, etc. for serving guests
  • Preps drinks and assists in prepping items such as sauces, salads, produce, etc.
  • Cleans all guest areas
  • Informs management when any front-of-house equipment needs service or inventory is needed
  • Removes trash from waste receptacles
  • Answers telephone calls and takes orders over the telephone
Requirements
  • Work 10-25 hours per week
  • In-store training program completed
