Land Survey Technician

As a Land Survey Technician at Widseth, you will play a crucial role in obtaining data for various residential and commercial projects. Your primary responsibilities will include performing boundary surveys, topographic and ALTA surveys, section corner redocumentation surveys, and commercial construction staking.

• Locate section corners, property corners, and survey control points under the direction of a land surveyor.
• Prepare topographic and contour maps of land surveyed, including site features and other relevant information, and complete survey notes in a timely manner.
• Perform stake-out services for commercial construction projects.
• Interact with clients and/or contractors, utilizing strong teamwork and communication skills.

• 4+ years of related experience working as a technician in the field.
• Associates degree in Land Surveying or Civil Technology.
• Experience using survey equipment such as GPS, Total Station, and data collector.
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Valid driver's license.
