Land Survey Technician

At Widseth, we're seeking a skilled Land Survey Technician to join our team. As a key member of our surveying team, you'll play a crucial role in obtaining data for various residential and commercial projects, performing boundary surveys, topographic and ALTA surveys, section corner redocumentation surveys, and commercial construction staking.

• Locate section corners, property corners, and survey control points under the direction of a land surveyor.
• Prepare topographic and contour maps of land surveyed, including site features and other relevant information, and complete survey notes in a timely manner.
• Perform stake-out services for commercial construction projects.
• Interact with clients and/or contractors, utilizing excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• 4+ years of related experience working as a technician in the field.
• Associates degree in Land Surveying or Civil Technology.
• Experience using survey equipment such as GPS, Total Station, and data collector.
• Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Valid driver's license.
