Caregiver for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

ExpertCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving their full potential.
Responsibilities
Assist residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Ensure the safety and comfort of recipients.
Engage recipients in meaningful activities, conversations, and companionship.
Help recipients perform tasks, such as laundry, tidying living spaces, and ensuring overall cleanliness.
Assist with errands within the local community.
Maintain accurate daily records of care provided.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for caregiving.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, transferring, or assisting with mobility (up to 40lbs).
A valid driver's license with auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Must pass a background check.
