Job Overview:
This is a continuous recruitment opportunity for the role of Custodial Worker. The locations for this position will vary based on availability, and candidates should be prepared for a flexible work environment.

Work Schedule:
This role entails a commitment of 40 hours per week throughout the year. The working hours are primarily during the night shift, typically from 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, though these hours may be subject to change.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is set at $19.51, effective as of July 1, 2024. This rate includes an additional $0.75 per hour for night shifts, in accordance with the contractual agreement.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possession of a High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
  • Experience in municipal cleaning, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Successful completion of a fingerprint-based background check, with a fee of $102.50 to be borne by the candidate.
  • City residents are encouraged to apply.
