Role Description:

GliaCell is seeking a Lead Systems Architect for one of our key projects. This full-time role involves providing technical expertise to support a U.S. Government client, focusing on sustaining critical mission-related software and systems for a significant government contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The AEA UX Design team is dedicated to addressing user experience challenges for technologies utilized within the Intelligence Community.
  • The AEA UX team collaborates with developers, managers, and systems engineers to ensure intelligence products remain modern and innovative.
  • The team conducts research and documents user workflows, designs front-end systems, creates mockups, engages with users, and interacts with multiple development teams using tools such as Axure and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Figma and XD are advantageous).

Essential Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
  • An active or reinstatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • A minimum of 14 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution. Alternatively, five (5) years of additional system engineering experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills:
  • Strong analytical skills to translate complex concepts into easily digestible visuals.
  • Extensive user experience research and strategy experience across enterprise applications.
  • Experience leading teams and serving as the primary liaison with customers and system stakeholders.
  • Background as an Analyst, End User, or mission Subject Matter Expert is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional product development teams.
  • Enterprise experience with UX across multiple applications.
  • Capability to design graphical user interface elements, such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
  • Experience in UI prototyping, visual communication, and interactive design.
