Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Morris, IL.

Position Details:

  • SLP Responsibilities:
    • Conduct evaluations and write IEPs and progress notes using Easy IEP.
    • Serve as the case manager for students receiving speech-only services.
    • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student goals.
  • SLPA Responsibilities:
    • Provide service minutes at the three campuses as outlined by the supervising SLP.
    • Collaborate with SLPs to implement therapy plans and support student progress.
    • Assist with therapy sessions and document student progress.

Qualifications:

For SLPs:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current Illinois State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience with IEP writing and using Easy IEP.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and case management skills.

For SLPA:

  • Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
  • Current Illinois State Licensure or Registration as an SLPA.
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with SLPs and school staff.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
