About the Role

Sedgwick is seeking a skilled Return-to-Work Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in helping our clients navigate the return-to-work process, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and minimizing business interruptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine objective, quantifiable, medically supported work restrictions for assigned claims.
  • Facilitate return-to-work (RTW) efforts through negotiation with client, treatment provider, and claimant.
  • Develop contacts with company managers to introduce program and represent client.
  • Contacts employers to determine specific information regarding employment area and ascertains the specific physical tolerances and vocational skills needed for specific employment positions.
  • Maintains regular contact with clients following placement, as per program guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), Certified Disability Management Specialist (CDMS), or Certified Case Manager (CCM) designation preferred.
  • Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, including one (1) year of return-to-work or job accommodation experience.
