Job Title: Perinatal Nurse

UnityPoint Health is seeking a skilled Perinatal Nurse to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Utilize scientific principles to administer care to antepartum, laboring, postpartum patients and newborns.
  • Promptly complete documentation to assure an accurate legal account of patients care.
  • Deliver high quality care utilizing the nursing process while demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills specific to the perinatal, obstetrical, and neonatal specialties.
  • Delegate and provide direction for other healthcare team members within their scope of practice and hold them accountable for their involvement in the plan of care.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
  • BSN preferred.
  • One year of acute clinical care experience.
  • One year of obstetric clinical care preferred.
