Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in the rehabilitation process of our patients, providing expert care and support to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech and language disorders, including those resulting from stroke, brain injury, and other conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Washington.
  • Master's degree from an accredited speech language pathology program.
  • Minimum of six months of experience in speech language pathology, preferably in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Current Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
  • Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
