We are seeking a dynamic individual to assist in continuing the build out of a new department within our Operations Division, supporting alternative investments.
This role will play a centralized role in leading our firm's effort to expand the array of products able to be offered to our branch teams and clients.
The individual will take a lead role representing the Operations Division within cross-divisional working groups for the consideration of onboarding new product(s) to the firm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, consulting, and advising on the impact to operations, including digital build and other considerations.
They will also assist in seeking out subject matter experts within Operations and outside of it to understand the impact.
The individual will vet out varying methodologies for the potential build and work with their leader to determine the optimal path forward.
They will assist in establishing criteria, requirements, and completion of EPICs to support various endeavors.
The role will also involve leading efforts to identify ownership across the capability structure and assist with coordination of the workflow with impacted stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be able to understand the upstream/downstream impacts to other departments and divisions within the firm.
They will explore multiple options available and arrive at an appropriate solution that aligns with area goals.
Strong problem-solving skills are required to research non-routine questions and recognize complex situations involving client accounts and/or firm systems.
The individual will be able to analyze, research, and make decisions on non-routine issues independently with little or no guidance.
They will have a deep understanding of the regulatory environment and be able to apply knowledge to reach appropriate conclusions in the best interest of clients and firm.
The associate is expected to continually increase acumen in the alternative assets space.
They will become acclimated with technology utilized within the department.
The role will also involve being responsible for Records and Information Management (RIM coordinator) for the department.
The individual will assist with establishing controls and oversight for any new work staying within our department.
Edward Jones' compensation and benefits package includes medical and prescription drug, dental, vision, voluntary benefits, short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage.
Short- and long-term disability, basic life, and basic AD&D coverage are provided at no cost to associates.
Edward Jones offers a 401k retirement plan, and tax-advantaged accounts: health savings account, and flexible spending account.
Edward Jones observes ten paid holidays and provides 15 days of vacation for new associates beginning on January 1 of each year, as well as sick time, personal days, and a paid day for volunteerism.
Associates may be eligible for bonuses and profit sharing.
All associates are eligible for the firm's Employee Assistance Program.
