Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our metrology equipment team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electro-mechanical systems and software issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair metrology equipment hardware and software issues with minimal supervision.
  • Perform complex electro-mechanical technical functions and activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronics and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Test and troubleshoot system level and component level problems in electrical and mechanical systems and sub-systems.
  • Compile logbooks and test procedures documentation utilizing good writing skills.
  • Assist in revising, developing, and implementing documented procedures.
  • Write complex technical reports and test procedures.
  • Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
  • Provide technical input to management to correct problems at the system level and in the manufacturing process.
  • Provide training to lower-level Engineering Technicians.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree (Optional)
  • 4-7 years of experience in electro-mechanical systems and metrology equipment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
