Job Title: Day Program Instructor Caregiver

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Day Program Instructor Caregiver to join our team. As a Day Program Instructor Caregiver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily routines for clients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in vocational activities, promoting independence and skill-building.
  • Transport clients to and from their homes or facilities, ensuring safe and timely arrival.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to assess, plan, and evaluate client progress, making adjustments as needed.
  • Document client notes and progress in computer programs, communicating with supervisors as required.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a California Driver's License.
  • Candidate must pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications, including Direct Support Professional Certificate and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
  • First Aid and CPR certification required.
