Job Summary:

About the Role:

This is a full-time position in an outpatient setting with a rotating weekend schedule. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide therapeutic services, including evaluation, treatment, and education. You will also have the opportunity to direct treatment activities of PT assistants and rehabilitation aides.

Responsibilities:

- Complete evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with established standards of care and practice.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure evaluations are performed safely and accurately.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term goals that are realistic, measurable, and address functional needs.
- Provide patient and family education on therapeutic techniques and equipment used in patient care.
- Work within the guidelines and authorizations provided by individual insurance coverage and Medicare guidelines.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
