Recreational Activities Coordinator -- FULL-TIME

Position Objective: Support the Activities Director in implementing daily programs that engage residents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, organize, and lead engaging activities tailored to residents' interests.
  • Maintain open communication with residents' families and the entire care team.
  • Facilitate group activities that promote social interaction.
  • Document and report on residents' participation and progress.
  • Conduct individual visits with residents as required.
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory compliance standards.
  • Provide feedback to the Activities Director regarding residents' responses and the effectiveness of various approaches, maintaining thorough records.
  • Utilize knowledge, skills, and sound judgment to manage the care of assigned residents effectively.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of one year of experience in long-term care or assisted living settings, or a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary skills. Ability to create engaging programs is essential. Strong communication and computer skills are required.
