BlueHalo is seeking a highly skilled Mission Integration Specialist to support our Cyber and Intel Division's Mission Integration and Special Technologies team. In this role, you will apply special technology solutions to real-world problems, ensuring our customers' mission capabilities are exceeded.

This team is responsible for supporting capability development, managing customer expectations, and performing specialized capability training for our customer base. Our team, located in Chantilly, Virginia, builds specialized mission capabilities and relies on our Mission Integration Specialist to ensure our solutions meet evolving mission needs.

The Mission Integration Specialist is responsible for overseeing various aspects of customer coordination and execution of critical customer support, training, deliveries, and mission solutioning. This role bridges the product team with the customer end-users, maintaining high levels of support and shaping the future of the capabilities we deliver.

As a Mission Integration Specialist, you will work closely with our product team of cyber security engineers, hardware/software developers, infrastructure specialists, and other operational technologists.

The Mission Integration Specialist will also support the testing of our solutions through QA/QC processes, evaluating technologies, supporting integration with other technologies, and working with customers to support their test and evaluation efforts for approvals of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support customer hardware and software issues, including after-hours on-call support
  • Support development staff with real-world testing support and feedback on product pre-release candidates to ensure solution is mission deployable
  • Design, conduct, and maintain a detailed customer training curriculum of our technical solutions for successful integration into mission
  • Manage customer deliveries - ordering, kitting, tracking, configuring, and shipping
  • Cultivate constructive feedback from end-users, product managers, and other stakeholders to continuously improve training, product integration, and solution impact
  • Investigate and deliver feedback to product/solution team on system performance, issues, and customer experience
  • Document requirements, track actions, and manage expectations
  • Identify and shape growth opportunities through discussions, presentations, and written documents
  • Write technical guidance documents and technical memorandums
  • Monitor commercial and industry trends, news, and updates that can impact our products, solutions, and technologies
  • Proactively communicate with team members, management, and other stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 10+ years of U.S. military experience, or equivalent experience and knowledge
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience working within the SOF Enterprise
  • Familiarity with SOCOM's technology solutions and methodologies
  • Working knowledge in technical operations, computer network operations, technology deployments into high-threat environments, secure communication practices, and/or digital forensics
  • Frequent domestic travel with limited international travel
  • Ability and strong motivation to learn new tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • Willingness to support end-users, including after-hours on-call support
  • A security-minded approach to all engineering and administration efforts
  • Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) and comfortable speaking to groups
  • Ability to understand and translate complex technology, cyber, and communications concepts to mission impact
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and technical documentation skills
  • Detail-oriented and critical thinking mindset
  • Must have a passion for training others and the ability to make training interesting, relevant, and inspiring
  • Experience and detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Clearance:

  • Current TOP SECRET clearance, with the ability to upgrade to customer-specific clearance requirements
  • If you only have a SECRET clearance, and you are open to upgrading this to a TOP SECRET clearance, you should still apply

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience testing software and hardware capabilities
  • Experience in designing technical course content
  • Experience or familiarity of modern training techniques
  • Ability to manage all phases of a project, including product research, technology selection, planning, budgeting, executing, tracking, testing, and writing high-quality documentation
