Job Summary

UNC Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Eden, North Carolina.

This is a full-time position with a standard schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no call or weekends.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound imaging and patient preparation for cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Conduct advanced cardiac ultrasound studies for patients with complex conditions.
  • Generate high-quality ultrasound images and reports.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality monitoring and quality assurance activities.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in cardiac and vascular sonography.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Minimum one year of experience in an acute hospital setting.
