Dialysis Technician Job Description

At Davita, Inc, we are seeking a skilled Dialysis Technician to join our team. As a Dialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective treatment of patients undergoing dialysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, including measuring and recording vital signs, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup.
  • Provide direct one-on-one patient care for a safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment.
  • Build long-term relationships with patients who receive treatment on average 3 times a week.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Basic life support certification and ability to learn dialysis procedures.
