About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hospice Nurse Liaison to join our team at Healthcare Recruiting Specialists. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing clinical education and managing marketing services to hospital and physician referral sources.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Education and Marketing: Provide educational sessions and manage marketing efforts to ensure awareness of our hospice services among hospital and physician referral sources.
  • Assessment and Coordination: Assess and coordinate home infusion services with Case Managers and Discharge Planners to determine the plan of care administered by our team under the direction of the patient's physician.
  • Patient and Caregiver Training: Provide training on therapy, monitoring, and side effects, and demonstrate procedures for administering therapy in the home, with a return demonstration from the patient/caregiver.
  • Customer Relationships and Service: Maintain and grow facility customer relationships, providing responsive customer service with assigned accounts, and evaluating current and future clinical and service needs for existing and new accounts.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combinations of education and work experience.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience as an RN is required, with hospice experience and critical care hospital nursing experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and a strong motivation to succeed.
