CNC Setup Specialist for Industrial Production

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Setup Specialist to join our team at Milwaukee Valve Co., LLC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a dynamic production environment.

**Job Summary:**

  • The CNC Setup Specialist will be responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines, including HMC, VMC, HTL, VTL, Swiss Screw, Multi-Axis lathes, Transfer machines, and Robots.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Perform machine setup and operation of various CNC machines
  • Determine work holding, tool selection, and edit programs as needed
  • Assist with mentoring others in machining and have good organizational, math, communication, and computer skills
  • Maintain coolant level, lubrication oil, and grease fixtures
  • Clean work area and perform production documentation
  • Perform tool testing and document results
  • Set up machines with no assistance and involve in tooling selection
  • Capable of extensively editing programs and generating simple programs

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum 3-year related machining experience, training, or equivalent
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety policies, operating instructions, procedure manuals, and communicate effectively with others
  • Thoroughly carry out instructions given in any form, ability to deal effectively with problems, and assist in determining causes of operating errors

  • Constantly stand and walk throughout the workday
  • Frequently use hands and arms to reach, grasp, manipulate, handle, or feel material
  • Constant use of hands and fingers to grasp, pinch, pull, feel, handle, and manipulate parts and tools
  • Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts
  • Occasional bending
  • Frequent lifting up to 40 lb. unassisted
  • Occasional lifting up to 70lbs unassisted
