**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver Specialist to provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes. As a member of the Centers for Independence team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

**Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and assistance to clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfer tasks, including walking, standing, and transferring from bed to chair.
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing living spaces.
  • Document client progress and communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.

**Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or elderly adults is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50-100 pounds and occasionally more, with the use of mechanical aids or assistive devices.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a caregiving role is highly valued.

**Compensation and Benefits:*

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

**Work Environment:*

This role involves providing care and support to clients in their homes, with occasional travel to community locations for errands and appointments. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks efficiently, and maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
