Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team. As a Tax Professional, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns, providing tax planning and consulting services, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning and consulting services
  • Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients, including identifying tax savings opportunities and developing strategies to minimize tax liability
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations, and communicate these changes to clients and colleagues
  • Mentor and support colleagues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality tax services
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
  • Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax
  • Experience completing individual returns
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort working with virtual tools, including video, phone, and chat
  • Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing
  • High school diploma or equivalent
