We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage the care of critically ill patients, including those with complex medical and surgical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least one year of experience in an ICU or critical care setting.
