Job Summary

As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our electric scooter fleet. Your expertise in repair and diagnostics will be vital in maintaining our vehicles and supporting our commitment to sustainable transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize your mechanical skills to perform repairs and maintenance on electric scooters.
  • Conduct thorough diagnostics and refurbishments of Bird vehicles.
  • Maintain open communication with supervisors regarding progress and challenges faced in the service center.
  • Work collaboratively with team members while also being capable of independent work.
  • Manage the movement of scooters and inventory within the facility.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about working in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A passion for technology and vehicles.
  • Proficiency in using smartphone applications.
  • A problem-solving mindset and adaptability.
  • A solid understanding of hand tools.
  • The physical ability to perform tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds frequently.
  • Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as needed.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
Preferred Experience

Prior experience in mechanical roles or related fields is advantageous, as well as familiarity with logistics, warehousing, and inventory management.
