Job SummaryThe Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will provide quality care to patients of all age groups, from newborn to elderly, according to department standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience in CT scan components.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment
- Provide quality care to patients of all age groups
- Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period
- Other related duties as assigned
- Formal 2-year radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT scan components
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in computed tomography
- State license if required
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Guaranteed hours for travel contracts
- Preferred booking agreement for local contracts
- Weekly pay
- Holiday pay
- Contract security compared to a contract with an outside agency
