Job Title: Signal Processing Technologist

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Signal Processing Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, and implementing Digital Signal Processing algorithms on high-performance processing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust, scalable, and performance-driven architectures for large-scale computing systems.
  • Collaborate with signal processing software and algorithm SMEs to design and implement high-throughput computing platforms.
  • Work with systems, hardware, FPGA, and software engineers to understand end-user requirements and apply implementation on new and established processing platforms.
  • Develop integration and test plans, procedures, and conduct execution of functional, performance, and environmental testing at the subsystem level.
  • Support implementation of solutions in stakeholder programs, including both programmatic and technical scope.
Requirements:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years' of prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' of prior work experience.
  • C++ application development experience in Linux environments.
  • Experience with Linux system administration.
  • Experience with Python and/or shell scripting.
  • S. government issued Secret security clearance is required post-start. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Software Engineering.
  • Experience developing applications for GPU.
  • Working understanding of parallelism and concurrency as applied to algorithm implementation on shared memory and distributed systems.
  • Experience implementing DSP or control algorithms in C++ meeting latency and/or throughput requirements.
