Reliability Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan.
  • Locate and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems to ensure smooth operation.
  • Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates to ensure knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Ensure that job functions maintain or improve product quality and meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced education or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
  • Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC and ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and accomplish projects in a timely manner with acceptable workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • On-the-job or classroom training in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical systems.
  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license.
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training.
