Position Overview

We are on the lookout for dedicated Gourmet Pizza Artisans to become a part of our vibrant team at New York Pizzeria. This role encompasses the creation of a diverse range of gourmet pizzas, calzones, spinach wheels, and strombolis, along with the essential tasks of preparing and maintaining the pizza station.

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft and bake a variety of menu items using standardized recipes.
  • Assist in the preparation of toppings, including cutting, chopping, and marinating ingredients.
  • Ensure that all food items are cooked to perfection and adhere to our quality standards.
  • Follow proper food handling and safety protocols consistently.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to guarantee timely and efficient meal service.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for new pizza creations and other menu offerings.

Qualifications

  • No prior experience as a pizza maker is necessary; we provide training.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques is beneficial.
  • Ability to operate kitchen tools and equipment, such as pizza cutters and ovens.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
  • Reliable work ethic with punctuality on scheduled workdays.
