Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Physician to conduct medical assessments for veterans in a non-treating role. This position involves reviewing medical records, conducting comprehensive evaluations, and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to assist the VA in making accurate disability determinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze veterans' medical records to document current health conditions.
  • Conduct thorough, non-treating assessments to capture all relevant medical findings.
  • Complete and submit DBQs based on VA-specific templates within 24 hours of the assessment.
  • Assess up to four veterans daily in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • A valid MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred; candidates with a completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty will also be considered.
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $ $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, and provide a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and career growth.
