As a Residential Support Specialist at JRI, you will be working in a dynamic environment with a team of professionals dedicated to supporting the wellbeing and development of our clients.

The salary for this position is approximately $44,800 per year, based on a 40 hour workweek and an hourly rate of $22.

**Job Description**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to convey your passion for helping others by leading a dynamic team and bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our clients. You will be responsible for creating a safe and therapeutic community by supporting clients in developing effective coping strategies and promoting their independence.

You will work closely with the rest of the team to provide individualized support and guidance to each client, helping them discover what makes them feel competent and valued. This may involve teaching life skills such as cooking, banking, and vocational skills, and supporting them in their daily activities.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver's license. You must also be able to remain awake throughout overnight shifts and be available to work evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts as required.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and have experience in a residential or social care setting. You will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to create a safe and therapeutic atmosphere for our clients.
