UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals is seeking a highly qualified Investigator in Pediatric Research to join our team. As a member of our Department of Pediatrics, you will have the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in pediatric medicine and contribute to the advancement of our field.
Responsibilities
Conduct research in pediatric medicine, including basic, translational, and clinical studies
Develop and implement research projects, including study design, data collection, and analysis
Collaborate with colleagues to advance our understanding of pediatric diseases and develop effective treatments
Publish research findings in reputable scientific journals
Requirements
MD or MD/PhD with training in pediatrics and/or a pediatric subspecialty
Eligibility for a California medical license
Board-certified or board-eligible in pediatrics and/or a pediatric subspecialty
Proven track record of publications and obtaining peer-reviewed external funding
Preferred Qualifications
Strength in teaching
Strong communication skills across a variety of venues
Has obtained, or is on track to obtain, R01 or equivalent funding as a Principal Investigator
