Core Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver in-person and remote behavioral health services, which include:
    • Conducting comprehensive mental health screenings and evaluations
    • Providing individual and group therapy sessions
    • Developing detailed treatment and care plans
    • Ensuring all necessary documentation is completed promptly
    • Performing regular home visits to assess participants' needs and goals
  2. Facilitate engaging monthly support groups focused on mental health
  3. Attend all mandatory team meetings, including case discussions
  4. Assist in organizing meaningful professional development activities for program staff.

Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated interest and commitment to perinatal mental health
  • Ability or willingness to train team members
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and reproductive justice
  • Knowledge of social determinants of health
  • Capacity to collaborate with a diverse group of perinatal professionals
  • Preferred additional training or specialization in infant mental health
  • Comfortable working with economically diverse and high-risk populations.
  • Ability to provide both virtual and in-person counseling services.

Licensure Requirements:

Must hold one of the following licenses in good standing:

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Licensed Psychologist (LP)
  • Limited License Psychologist (LLP)
  • Temporary Limited License Psychologist (TLLP)
