Job Title

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Tax Analyst to join our team at Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze financial data to ensure accurate tax compliance.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Develop and manage tax provision calculations, including current and deferred tax liabilities.
  • Forecast and calculate federal and state income tax estimated payments, maintaining and reconciling tax general ledger accounts.
  • Support senior team members with state tax issues, including researching, documenting, and responding to state notices and audits.
  • Conduct tax research and planning, making value-added recommendations to optimize tax positions and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in tax compliance and accounting.
  • Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
  • CPA certification is a plus.
