Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense and compound medication, counseling patients on medication and health subjects
  • Interpret prescriptions, manage patient drug therapy, and perform drug utilization
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare practitioners to provide comprehensive care
  • Administer medications as applicable by state law and practice setting
  • Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
  • Current Ohio pharmacist license
  • Previous pharmacy experience
  • Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • ASHP accredited residency or equivalent pharmacy practice experience
  • Pharmacy Board Certifications or other certifications
  • Advanced-level degree in healthcare field
  • Collaborative practice experience
