Thoracic Medical Oncologist

Our comprehensive Thoracic Oncology group consists of top-ranked specialists with unique expertise. We work together to pioneer patient care and clinical trial enrollment, leveraging advanced technologies such as Proton Beam Radiation therapy and GMP facilities for manufacture of cellular therapies.
As a member of our team, you will have access to the combined resources of the entire Mayo Clinic Enterprise Network, including over 200 oncologists and hematologists, CORE research facilities, pathology, clinical records, and over 2000 faculty involved in cancer care.

ResponsibilitiesOur ideal candidate will be an early to mid-career medical oncologist focused on thoracic malignancies with leadership skills to help drive the growth and visibility of our multidisciplinary program.
The successful candidate will be able to partner with our internationally recognized surgical, medical, and radiation teams in a multidisciplinary clinic; initiate, run, and develop clinical trials; recruit future colleagues and drive innovation across the spectrum of care.
The applicant will have a primary focus on Lung Cancer, Mesothelioma, and Thymic Cancers. A solid track record in publication and clinical trials design and conduct is desirable.
The applicant will have the opportunity to provide mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows and to more junior faculty where applicable.
QualificationsBoard eligible or board certified in Medical Oncology. Eligible for licensure in the state of Arizona.
