Thoracic Surgeon Opportunity at Dignity Health

We are seeking two highly skilled Thoracic Surgeons to join our team at the Norton Thoracic Institute (NTI) at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

About the Opportunity

The NTI is a premier organization dedicated to providing exceptional thoracic surgical care to patients with thoracic diseases. Our team of seven thoracic and esophageal surgeons, partner pulmonologists, and critical care physicians work together to deliver the highest quality care in a collaborative and collegial environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide superb clinical care to patients with thoracic diseases
  • Participate in a busy and high-quality lung transplant program
  • Contribute to the development of an expanding thoracic surgery practice
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced thoracic surgeons and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Successful completion of ACGME-approved General Surgery Residency and Thoracic Surgery Fellowship (or an I-6 Tract equivalent)
  • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
  • Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital/surgical privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
  • A passion for providing superb clinical care in a collaborative team-based setting
