Job SummaryWe are seeking a board-certified/eligible Developmental Pediatrician to join our award-winning faculty in the Department of Pediatrics. As a Developmental Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to children with neurodevelopmental and behavioral difficulties, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, including child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, audiologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, and social workers.
Responsibilities- Thoroughly examine patients, review their history, and provide a diagnosis.
- Educate and counsel patients and families on neurodevelopmental and neurobehavioral difficulties.
- Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication and monitor behavioral side effects.
- Collaborate with other clinicians, including neurologists, psychologists, social workers, etc., within a multidisciplinary environment.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of teamwork, ability to care for a diverse patient population, excellent communication skills, an interest in academics, and a compelling desire to share our mission to serve, to heal, and to educate.
