Key Responsibilities
  • Train and mentor bakery associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Determine production and inventory levels for the bakery to meet customer demand and minimize waste.
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of all bakery products and services.
  • Manage the bakery's inventory, ordering, and receiving processes to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve bakery sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the store director and bakery sales director to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, sanitation, and productivity standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing bakery team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to associates.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent and some college education preferred.
  • Five years of bakery experience preferred.
  • Current Food Handlers Permit required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Working Conditions

The work environment is generally safe and comfortable, with frequent exposure to hot, cold, slippery, dusty, and wet conditions. The associate will be required to stand, climb, walk, and bend throughout the workday, and may be required to lift heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
