Pulmonology Registered Nurse Job Description

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pulmonology team in Tacoma, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Pulmonology clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients with pulmonary conditions, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct patient education and counseling on disease management and self-care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Washington.
  • Experience in ambulatory care nursing, preferably in pulmonology.
  • Primary nursing or case management experience preferred.
