Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Relations Specialist to join our team at Insight Global. As the Medicaid subject matter expert, you will provide front-line customer service to participating Medicaid health care providers.

About the Role

This role is ideal for an individual with a working knowledge of Medicaid data collection and storage. You will work closely with the provider relations and outreach team to carry out the duties associated with onboarding Medicaid health care providers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Main Responsibilities: Serve as the Division of Health Benefits (DHB) Medicaid provider relations liaison, process contracts, and maintain a detailed customer database/customer relationship management application.
  • Skill Utilization: Develop and/or revise work procedures, methods, and forms as necessary; train employees in work procedures; maintain operations by following policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work with Medicaid providers and health plans to identify pain points and develop plans for resolution; assist with opening accounts, updating account information, and resolving customer issues via phone or email.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; experience working with Medicaid providers and/or in a healthcare setting; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to convey complex information through various media; adjust language or terminology to meet recipient needs; use correct grammar, organization, and structure.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Suite of Products and Adobe products; ability to utilize office equipment and technology to meet work needs.

Estimated Salary Range

$65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
