About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Healthcare Operations Specialist to join our team at the North Carolina Community Health Center Association.

Job Description

The Member Services Coordinator (MSC) will play a critical role in providing key coordination support to the Member Services Department and all NCCHCA staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project operations, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects related to member services.
  • Technology Support: Support day-to-day management of several technology systems supporting member services, including Higher Logic Connected Community, WordPress website, Relias Management system, and Salesforce.
  • Meeting Coordination: Coordinate internal meetings among the NCCHCA team to plan and implement shared work.
  • Needs Assessment: Coordinate annual needs assessment for member health centers.

In addition, the MSC will be responsible for creating processes and providing staff lead support for peer learning workgroups made up of health center staff, including scheduling meetings, drafting agendas, and coordinating speakers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Project or Program Coordination: 1-2 years of experience in project or program coordination in healthcare, public health, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Systems: Familiarity with the work, requirements, and environment of federally qualified health centers.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software programs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem-solving skills.
  • Cultural Competence: Demonstrated awareness of, and value for, cultural competence in task implementation.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires working in a typical office environment. You will be consistently working at a desk in front of a computer monitor, with significant typing and data entry.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
