Senior Tax Accounting Analyst

Location: Remote

Work style: Hybrid

Position Overview & Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare quarterly and annual global income tax provisions, including the following ASC-740 components:
    • Accounting and reporting of uncertain tax positions
    • Assessment and reporting of valuation allowances
    • Calculation of interim taxes and effective tax rates
    • Calculation of permanent and temporary tax adjustments
  • Record necessary journal entries in the general ledger
  • Assist with tax accounting analysis, research, and documentation
  • Engage in special projects related to tax accounting
  • Support documentation of tax processes and SOX controls
  • Prepare reconciliations for income tax accounts
  • Review federal and state tax calculations and quarterly estimated payments prepared by external accounting firms
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2 - 5 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate tax environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and general ledger systems
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA certification is highly desirable
