Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Abode Hospice and Home Health. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients' levels of speech or language difficulty and determining the need for continued therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with patients to evaluate their levels of speech or language difficulty
- Determine the extent of communication problems by administering standardized tests
- Teach patients how to make sounds and improve their voices
- Teach alternative communication methods, such as sign language, to patients with little or no speech capability
- Document patient progress and clinical notes
- Master's degree as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP
- Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP
- Minimum of one year (1) direct patient care experience preferably in-home care environment
- Current CPR certification
- Reliable transportation, valid driver license, and current automobile insurance
