Position Overview:

Role Responsibilities:
The Mental Health Technician plays a crucial role in offering direct supervision and guidance to emotionally and behaviorally challenged children and adolescents. This position requires a compassionate and respectful demeanor, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in care.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Maintaining a vigilant awareness of all developments and concerns regarding the children.
  • Distinguishing between discipline and punishment, while recognizing underlying needs beyond surface behaviors.
  • Building trusting and supportive relationships with children, which is essential for effective individualized treatment and programming.

Work Schedule:
We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with shifts available during evenings and overnight hours. Weekend availability is required.

Compensation:
Hourly pay ranges from $16.50 to $20.00, commensurate with education and experience.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Complete a two-week paid corporate training program.

Preferred Qualifications:
Individuals pursuing degrees in Criminal Justice, Psychology, Education, or Social Services are strongly encouraged to apply.
