Position Details:

Job Title: Distribution Coordinator
Location: North Chicago, IL
Employment Type: Temp to Hire
Compensation: $17-$19/hr
Work Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:30am-6:00pm (Monday through Friday)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and manage incoming documentation including purchase orders and transfers.
  • Prepare and process outgoing paperwork such as sales orders and packing lists.
  • Address and resolve order release discrepancies.
  • Conduct inventory adjustments and location movements as necessary.
  • Digitally scan and archive documents while maintaining physical files.
  • Update inventory statuses and manage planned transfer orders.
  • Regularly check and respond to emails, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding English is essential.
  • Basic skills in mathematics, writing, and reading are necessary.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work with chemicals and adhere to safety protocols, including wearing steel-toed shoes.
  • Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
  • Willingness to perform assigned tasks and adhere to food safety responsibilities when applicable.
