Maintenance Planner

The Maintenance Planner is a critical member of the Maintenance Team, responsible for planning and executing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with maintenance supervisors, plant managers, and project managers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Coordinate with maintenance supervisors and plant managers to prioritize and allocate resources for maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Monitor and report on maintenance performance, downtime, and reliability.
- Participate in initiatives to improve maintenance efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance equipment reliability.
- 2+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in sawmilling.
- Proven leadership and maintenance management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Experience with electronic maintenance programs (MP2, EAM) is an asset.
