Inpatient Nurse Specialist

The Inpatient Nurse Specialist at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center provides high-quality patient care in a fast-paced inpatient setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
- AHA BLS and ACLS required prior to the end of orientation
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
