Licensed Practical Nurse II

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse II to join our team at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center. As a LPN II, you will provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider.
Key Responsibilities- Observe, report, and record medical information and nursing care provided in the electronic medical record.
- Instruct patients and families according to the teaching plans.
- Communicate with the healthcare team to facilitate the coordination of individualized patient care.
- Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
- One (1) year of LPN experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
- Strong interpersonal, effective listening, and needs anticipation skills.
- Adequate skills in handling instruments/equipment.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
